Guilty

It started out innocently.
Hayes went down for a nap so I got online to check to see if my last grade had posted. Which it finally had. Then I decided to check my e-mail.
It all goes downhill from there. Blogging is just dangerous.
I have toys everywhere that need to be picked up, a online class I need to get the first assignments done before I have this baby, and a baby blanket to bind. (I could add and bathrooms to clean but we'll just avoid that.) Oh yes and dinner to make. But instead I spend an hour looking at people's blogs and finding new ones to spend even more time looking at next time I get on. I love looking at everyone's pictures and hearing what they are up to! I'd like to make an excuse that it was my "social event" of the day but I was outside talking to my neighbors for half the day. Does anyone else have this problem? Getting online to do one quick thing and spending an hour doing something completely different. I guess at least I'll admit it, that's the first step to recovery right?

Don't feel guilty - it really could be your only connection to a grown-up world some days. In the old days we used to be connected to 15 foot telephone cord while talking to a friend. The kids would wind up in the cord and pull if they were bored. This is one of the ways that mother's can support each other!

I already have a problem with getting on my email for something quick and then taking over an hour to go through other emails and in general surf the web.

Blogging is going to add even more time to my online life.

It is fun to keep up on everyone though.

I am horrible too. In fact... I need to stop and go to bed before Dawsyn is ready to eat again.
