Today

When I was finally awake enough this morning to think a coherent thought (Bracken will vouch that I am definitely not a morning person) I stressed myself out thinking of the rest of the things we need to do by August 1st.

Get the house clean again from a busy weekend.
Keep the house clean for showings
Pack up our house here
Go to Vegas next week to find a house to rent or better yet find a house we can rent until we can buy it when our house sells.
get a moving truck
unpack there
change all our address info
SELL OUR HOUSE

yadda yadda yaddda. Now it doesn't seem like that big of a list but man I was stressing. So before I let the anxiety settle in, I did the thing I seem to do best.
Procrastinate.
While Bracken was busy at work the kids and I enjoyed a day at the park and then I enjoyed sitting under an umbrella in my friend Daeci's backyard talking to her and Michelle while our kids swam.
Nothing better to help stress then to ignore it completely and sit in the sun...right?

The day ended great too. Bracken had Elders Quorum visits so I was not looking forward to putting both of them to bed. Especially since Hayes skipped his nap and that makes him super ornery at bedtime. But he fell asleep in the middle of dinner!

and Kamri was entertained by our neighbors dogs while I cleaned up dinner.

After Bracken got home from his visits he had a few guys over to talk politics. They get together probably once a month or every two months and just talk about anything they feel like. Bracken calls it his political pow-wows, I call it his nerd herd. They don't always agree but they all sure enjoy it.
and I've enjoyed my night of blogging. :)

I like your procrastination techniques. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who does that sort of stuff. Good luck moving! It IS pretty stressful, but I know it will all work out for you. It sure was nice for us to have our family and wards help us. I'm sure you will also be well taken care of. Good luck with house hunting. I have a feeling OUR hunt is almost over! I don't remember if we sent you our blog link. Here it is: http://brandonsheenasblog.blogspot.com

Way to go - summer days end way too fast (but then maybe you are moving to perpetual summer?)

Kamri is the cutest swimsuit babe EVER! That picture is so stinkin cute!

I do remember being there and feeling like you have a thousand things to do and all you want to do is soak in your surroudings. Change has never been a good thing for me, but I'm getting used to it and I've learned that it has stretched me to do things that I never thought I could...including living 1000's of miles away from my sweet family. But here we are in Detroit of all places. Good luck and know that you're in our prayers! Everything will work out...Bracken always seems to make that happen. (sorry for the long comment) :)
