My whole family is asleep. Kamri and Hayes went down easy and Bracken was out by 9:30 because he is sick. Instead of getting sleep while I can...I'm blogging. Naughty Skye.
I never understood why people took so many pictures of their kids sleeping but now I understand why. Something about the peaceful calmness and the realization that no matter what, you love them with all your heart and more. Here are a few (okay a lot) of my favorites.
We were on a family vacation with my side of the family. We went to a bee's game and by the time we got back to the condo Hayes was so tired. We had family prayer and after the prayer we couldn't find Hayes. Everyone started looking for him, we found him in bed...holding his pajama pants. If only he always put himself to bed!
Kamri has, for the most part been a great sleeper (hopefully she keeps it up!)
I debated on putting this picture on here since I'm no sleeping beauty but...this shows how tired we were after Kamri was born. Or how Hayes can sleep no matter how uncomfortable he his.
Unlike her mother, she is a sleeping beauty.

The picture below is what I found after I shut the door to try and get hayes to fall asleep. First thought...dang a big mess to clean up. Second thought...where is Hayes?
Found him by the side of the chair...yes he had taken off his diaper and shorts, I guess inbetween destroying the room. Luckily he hadn't peed or pooped!
We tried to have a rule that if he climbed up...he had to be able to climb back down. Hoping that sometime it would catch on that he should think about where he climbs before he does it. That hasn't happened but Bracken did have a victory this time. He climbed up to get his binkie out of the cupboard and Bracken told him he had to climb down by himself. He was so tired he ended up falling asleep there. First time Bracken didn't end up giving in to his whining (or saving him from hurting himself) and getting him down.
I love her kissable chubby cheeks!
Well now, I'm off to sleep!

I love that you have so many pictures of cute sleeping babies! And funny stories to go along with them too. When I was single and in college pulling endless late nights and all-night-ers...I had no idea that motherhood would bring a whole new meaning to tired! Pictures definitely help you remember that they did sleep sometimes even if your body is telling you otherwise!
This post is "book worthy" - it would make a great children's book!
Also, as fast as Hayes moves when he is awake - it would be alot easier to get a photo in this state. I love it!!!

Oh, man! The only place James will sleep is his bed..he's been like that since he was 6 months...I am impressed with the flexibility in these pictures!

i am still laughing. the photo of him asleep on the counter is my favorite, i was dying! for as hard as he plays, it shouldn't surprise me some of the places he crashes, but those are some great photos. what a great post! i loved it!

I think this is the bets post I've ever read. I love to see hayes sleeping in all those crazy places. he cracks me up. Your blog is so fun to read. And that table you finished...WOW, I couldn't believe that was the same one we grew up with. you're very talented! hope your househould is feeling better.

Skye, those are some sweet pictures. That was a really cute post. I also have several pictures of my kids sleeping. Like Hayes, I've got pictures of Tanner falling asleep in the weirdest places. If you don't mind. I might do a post with my sleeping kids.
