Sold!

Last week we sold our house!! We've signed all the papers. The utilities are all put in the new owners name and today I mailed the useless (in Vegas) garage clicker Bracken has had in his car for the last 7 1/2 months.
We were up in Cache Vally for spring break the weekend after the renters moved out. It was sad walking through our first house and all the good memories we made in it and realizing that it won't be our anymore but we're so relieved. Even though it didn't sell as fast as we would have liked, we feel so blessed that we had good renters in there from the week after we moved out to the week before it sold.

That's awesome that you were able to sell your house. The Petsmart idea is awesome, I'm going to have to take my kiddos!

The Master Gardener from Heaven above
Planted a seed in the garden of love
And from it there grew a rosebud small
That never had time to open at all,
For God in His perfect and all-wise way
Chose this rose for His Heavenly bouquet
And great was the joy of this tiny rose
To be the one our Father chose
To leave earth's garden for one on high
Where roses bloom and never die.
So, while you can't see your precious rose bloom,
You know the great Gardener from the upper room
Is watching and tending this wee rose with care,
Tenderly touching each petal so fair.
So think of your darling with the Angels above
Secure and contented and surrounded by love,
And remember God blessed and enriched your lives, too,
For in dying your darling brought heaven closer to you!

Hey Skye I just came across your blog recently and read about your sweet baby Dane. You sound like you are doing wonderful through this trial. You have been in my thoughts and prayers. My friend just posted this poem on her blog. A friend had given it to her when she lost her baby 4 yrs ago. I thought it was very sweet. I hope you enjoy it. Love Janae
