Independence Day on the 5th in Cedar City

We drove up to Cedar Sunday night and were headed up to the Cabin with my side of the family but we had to get in on Cedar's festivities first. Of course the parade. We hit up Summerlin's parade on Saturday and Cedar's on Monday. Summerlin had some fancy smancy stuff but you can't beat small town parades! Plus there was way more candy thrown in Cedar!I love the beginning of Parades where it gets quiet while everyone stands up and puts their hands to their hearts for the flag before the fire engines break the silence with their sirens. Then we went to the fair at Main Street Park. Hayes & Kamri enjoyed the bounce houses,

and some cotton candy! I loved the pictures of Hayes & Kamri with Cotton Candy, I remember being a kid and being sticky with cotton candy and not even caring. It was fun watching them stuffing their faces and licking their fingers clean.

Yes, yes that exactly what I was going to say! I love her pigtails.

I can't get over how much Hayes looks like Bracken when he was little in the cotton candy picture.
