The kids were so excited to watch General Conference. I had a swelling of my heart that they were so excited to listen to the prophet & apostles until I realized it was because they knew we'd have a lot of candy to eat!!
I enjoyed listening to conference, the kids sat through a few talks trying to get their conference bingo filled up. To try and slow the intake of candy, we told them they could eat one piece of candy every time there was a new speaker. So they only paid attention to the amens and when someone new was up.
In between sessions Hayes & I finished up our three-day-long Risk game. I felt a little guilty winning but you gotta learn how to lose somehow, right? ;) plus I knew if I let him make a comeback we could be playing for weeks. I was impressed he played by the rules, none of this making up new rules mid-game to make sure he wins like his father...
Kade (Bracken's brother) & Katie & their kids came down tonight. I'm glad they stopped by, it was fun seeing them! Kade & Bracken went to the priesthood session. Katie & I took the kids to the park. I wasn't feeling good, Hayes got a fat lip and Kamri ended up puking because all she had was candy in her belly...and a starburst wrapper as evidenced in her throw up (TMI?). I took Kamri home and gave her a bath. We weren't the best company but still happy they came!
We had pizza when the guys got home. I'm looking forward to another relaxing, spiritual day tomorrow. Hopefully no more puking involved.
My FLT: Hayes asking his 8-year-old cousin, Carver, if Carver would vote for him when he ran for President of the United States. Just making sure he'll have the whole family behind him I guess!

Hope you and Kamri are feeling better . . . Tell Hayes that Grandma Neice will vote for him for sure!
