Growth

I had various opportunities today to visit with women who I think are amazing but have had to go through some tough times recently. Life is hard and sometimes we have trials that are VERY hard but the strength of these women help me remember that life is also good. We have a Heavenly Father that loves and blesses us. Life gives us a great opportunity for growth but sometimes I wish I could take the pain of that growth away. Then I realized that is where Jesus Christ and the atonement comes in, our pains can be lessened if we cast our burdens on his shoulders and pray that we can be willing to follow the will of our Father. After we've been through our trials and stayed true to our values and the commandments, then comes the blessings. Typing that is so much easier than living it....I've had a lot on my mind but grateful for the wonderful friends and family that are great examples to me.
