Hayes started soccer today. The weather was perfect. Bracken had to go to school to do homework. We rode our bikes to the park and I planned on going for a bit of a longer ride with them on the way home but a bulging back tire changed those plans. Hayes & I played a game of Monopoly. I did some stuff for my church calling. I was unproductive for most of the rest of the day and not in a good way because I wasn't really doing anything fun either....just being lazy. Then we ate dinner and went on our date. When I handed Lyla over to the babysitter she recognized her from last night and started bawling since she knew that meant we were leaving...luckily Lyla was exhausted and fell asleep quick for the babysitter. The roller derby was fun but I can see why it's not super popular. As Bracken explained it " WWF in the geriatric ward and on roller-skates" We had a good time laughing at the mock fights though.

I used to delete most of the pictures that Bracken was just pulling a face, now I keep them because he does it for EVERY. picture. I still love him though, even if our posterity will wonder if he was capable of a normal smile.
