Selçuk and Kuşadasi

After Ephesus we took a public bus to Selçuk, it was a short ride so we should have walked but it was helpful since they dropped us off at the bus station so we knew where to go to get back to Kuşadasi.  On the bus on the way to Selçuk I spotted this castle in the distance.  The driver told us it was closed for renovations though.
Selçuk had a bunch of streets like this with little shops and outdoor cafes.  So beautiful.

We walked up and checked out the outside of the Basicillia of St. John, and up the street was the grand fortress of Selçuk. (the castle I saw on the bus ride.)

the turkish bazaar.  There were so many streets covered in tents with so many vendors that were selling the same thing it was easy to get lost.  The sellers would yell. Lady, Lady I have a question for you.  Come here!  A lot of them were selling the same things so really their salesmanship was what kept their family fed. I bought a dress. I was nervous to buy it without trying it on but I'm glad I did. I love it.

Genuine fake watch, or some signs would say Real Fake watch.....nice.
